Sunset Views on Eagle Rock

Hiking is one of mine and Liam’s favorite outdoor activities to do when visiting Lake Tahoe! Our favorite hike is the Eagle Rock Trail which is located on the North Lake and about 0.7 miles to the top and back. The trial is perfect for families looking for a hike that even their tiniest of family members can partake in and is also perfect for anyone searching for an epic view of Lake Tahoe. This is a great walking trial in the summer and is also perfect for snowshoeing in the winter! We hike it almost every time we are in the area, and during this particular trip we had been eating our way through Tahoe City and figured a hike was in order just so we felt a little more productive about our lives ;)! So, we took a short hike, a bottle of wine + a wool blanket up to the top of the rock and watch the sunset over the lake.
