Yet another gorgeous week in San Francisco! Last Friday was a high 70’s and sunny kinda day, and with each passing light I am starting to feel slightly better with this little virus I am trying to fight off.
My Friday morning started off with me feeling groggy, sore and extremely flu-like. So, I did what any sick person would do and made myself a cup of my homemade Vanilla Almond Tea Latte as a pick-me-up (recipe here ), popped a Claritin + some B12 and hoped for the best. To be honest with you, I didn’t see light at the end of the tunnel, but after a nice long nap I was ready to get out of the house for a few short hours to enjoy the beautiful weather. I guess you can say I needed to medicate a little bit more by soaking in some all natural vitamin D.
To make my life a little easier with all that was going on, I decided to slip on this comfy Lacy Maxi from Stevie Sisters and paired it with these adorable Mauve Madeline Mules from Foi Clothing (under $100.00 – winning!). My hair was pretty wild, so I put on my favorite wool hat from Lack of Color to complete this effortless look. You can’t win ’em all, but you sure can when you have a hat like this 😉 .
I don’t know about you, but there is something so refreshing about getting ready when you’re sick. I tend to feel so much better about life, and how could I not? The sun was out and I no longer looked like an extra from an episode of The Walking Dead – 2nd win of the post!
If you’re visiting the city this summer, be sure to pack for all occasions (hot, cold and everything in between). The weather here in SF can be quite moody if you catch my drift 😉 .
